About the event

BALATON CLASSiC™ RAMADA GRAND PRIX is organised for the fourth time on 4. June 2011. to bring us the beginning of summer weather and sunshine. As it has been like that so far we hope never will the shining sun in the logo let the competitors down.

The second round of Oldtimer Supercup starts off from the main square of Balatonalmádi to cover about 200 km – via the sceneries and settlements of Káli basin, Balaton highlands – to arrive back at the wonderful shore of Balatonalmádi.

The one-day tournament traditionally begins with fun, a kind of unusual prologue. The teams who arrive already on Friday can compete with each other with a special task (vehicles) by the well-known rules of 1/100 timing to qualify themselves in the Saturday event. Although the itinerary of the Saturday competition contains undiscovered parts participants won’t miss the fascinating panoramic phases overlooking the Lake Balaton. It is already sure that among competitors we will welcome an increasing number of mayors and media celebs which may create a separate competition for them just like the one that has outlined as an ‘individual battle’ among brand-clubs pre-entering BC.

As a rule in our old timer competitions the technical arrangement and precise timing goes to the competence of Majosházi Péter competition manager and his team, and the results will traditionally be forwarded to the teams by text right away.

Because of the unique Balaton starting premises competitors entered are offered a discount accommodation package - in limited number and within close deadline - RAMADA HOTEL & RESORT LAKE BALATON****. (Details are available by clicking Entry Information)
